Alphasonics

Founded in Great Britain in 1993, Alphasonics has rapidly become the premier designer and manufacturer of ultrasound anilox roll and parts washing systems for the flexographic and gravure printing industries worldwide.

Aphasonics utilizes "Alphasound," a proven technology which enables safe and effective cleaning of rolls with a variety of screen counts.

Alphasonics systems can be used by unskilled operators and have no abrasive action. Standard designs can handle rolls from 7 in. to 65 in. wide, and custom-designed systems can be provided up to 196 in. wide. Systems can be configured to clean up to six rolls at a time.

The system is offered in four models which offer an increasing number of roll features and degree of automation. They are dubbed Melanie, Melissa, Miranda and Megan.

Alphasonics operates an 8000 sq. ft. facility in Liverpool, England.

Doyle Systems is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Alphasonics products.

Tectonic International Limited

Located in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, Tectonic is the world’s fastest-growing supplier of video web and print inspection equipment. The company offers a standard range of products and is capable of providing a number of alternative configurations to meet customers’ needs precisely.

Together with Doyle, the company also offers a plate mounting system which allows any operator to mount printing plates accurately in two minutes or less. The system reduces setup time and waste.

Doyle Systems is the exclusive North American distributor of these products.

LandSco®

LandSco® (Lord & Schoenberg, Inc.) was purchased by J.E. Doyle in 1988 and is now operated as a division of Doyle Systems. LandSco’s primary product is the LandSco Light, which employs a special lens for surface inspection of paper, board, plastic and other materials. It reveals surface imperfections and defects not visible to the naked eye. Various models are used in quality control systems by printers, paper mills and paper converters.

Statikil®

Doyle acquired Statikil, Inc. in 1984 to expand its product offerings. Statikil is the original chemical preparation for neutralizing static electricity. For over 40 years, it has been the standard for environments where static is generated by friction or atmospheric conditions. It is used in printing, converting, paper mills, textile and carpeting manufacture, laundry and dry cleaning and as a spark retardant in hazardous work environments.
